The name of Haryana instantly conjures up the image of a State which astonishingly combines both-antiquity and plenty. The Vedic land of Haryana has been a cradle of Indian culture and civilization. Haryana which was formed on Ist. of Nov. 1966 is one of the youngest State with a total area of 44212 Sq. Kms. divided in 22 districts, which is 1.3% of the total area of the Country. This is land where Lord Krishna gave the immortal message of BHAGWAD GEETA to mankind of spirituality and rightful living. No wonder with its rich spiritual and culture heritage, Haryana has made great strides in all spheres of human endeavor irrespective of whether it is industry or agriculture, medicine or education and has come to be reckoned as a developed progressive State. The industries, agricultural sectors, tourist spots, medical institutions and educational facilities flourishing in the State vouch for this.
